Google Desktop Gadgets - fun and efficiency

Here are my best gadgets. To find out more about a gadget, you can just click on its icon. There won't be new versions of these gadgets in the future since i'm busy with other projects.

	Web TV and Radio - Watch free TV channels and listen to radio stations with this cool Google Desktop gadget. Streaming media feeds are already set, and you can even put your own URLs!
	DigiWatch - This is a remake of my first gadget. It has functions like AM/PM-24h modes, date, alarm, ‘time left’ progress bar and more..
	Amazon Search box - Search and shop, quickly and easily, on Amazon.com, right from your desktop
	Tabbed ToDo List - Organize your tasks in categories, so you’ll always find what you need to do and for what :)
	TV Set - a TV set for your sidebar. You can can change between 5 TV stations and you can customize each station by changing it with your own URL. Have fun! :)
	The Shortcut Gadget - Need a simple and clean way to launch your applications? Do you want your programs one click away? Then this is the gadget to use… You can set your icon as any image file and point to any location, command or internet address.

	Binary-Decimal Converter - Easily convert binary numbers into decimal ones, and the other way around.
	Daisy-gadget - Play the “Loves Me or Loves Me Not” game on Valentine’s Day and go shopping online for the event.
	Librarian - Keep track of your read books, search or buy new ones, and share what you’re reading with friends, in turn seeing what they read as well.
	System Stats - Computer usage statistics at a glance: stats about your CPU (Central Processing Unit), memory, wireless signal and battery.
	Biorhythm - This gadget gives you your biorhythm through physical, emotional and intellectual charts, based on your birth date, for a period of 4 weeks. You can also see when the values are at their maximum or their minimum.
	Multiplayer Chess - Play chess with your friends! You can even save matches, so you won’t loose them if one of the players unexpectedly leaves. Needs Google Talk.
	Javascript Box - Quick Javascript editor to test your code snippets easily, without running other applications.
	DigiDate - The date and weekday at a glance, in your sidebar, on your desktop or your iGoogle homepage. Similar as visual theme with the DigiWatch gadget.
	Temperature Converter - Convert temperature measuring units: Celsius, Farenheit, Kelvin and Rankine.
	Chart maker - Quick and easy chart creator. Switch between line-charts and bar-chart, set a grid, make slideshows and more...
	Volume Converter - Convert volume measuring units, from drops and milliliters to barrels, gallons and cubic meters.
	Length Converter - Convert length measuring units, from angstroms and sticks to miles, kilometers and even light-seconds. Quick and easy!
	Weight Converter - Convert weight measuring units, from unified atomic mass to kilos, pounds, ounces, tonnes, stones, bags and more.
	RGB color creator - Convert colors from decimal to hex or from hex to decimal, slide to a desired color, copy to clipboard, see sample area and more...
	Cupid's gadget - Start ‘like-marking’ who you like right now! If you both like-marked each other the heart will start beating :) To see your friends Google Talk has to be running.
	Countdown To New Year - Know how many days are left until Christmas and the New Year. You can even make it snow and listen to carols!
	Fishtank - Add a touch of nature to your sidebar and relax while these fishes swim across your sidebar - they have some nice things to say. You won’t get bored because they automatically get the latest messages from the internet.
	Limiter - A simple timer, yet a useful time management gadget. You can track how much time you spend doing something, how long you stay connected to the Internet etc. In the latest version, the timer has multiple tasks for better functionality.
	Mini Control Panel - Take advantage of everything your system has to offer with control panel properties, useful programs and a run dialog (plus CPU and memory usage statistics), all in one gadget.
	Mouse Position - Find out what your mouse(cursor) position is, in pixels. You get X and Y axis location relative to the upper-left corner of the screen.
	Around The World - Travel around the world using this Google Desktop gadget, with pictures, info, .kmz files, and links to Wikipedia pages about cool places.

Next come some of my older, deprecated gadgets. Most of them have been remade in better gadgets, which are listed above.

	Blog-About-The-Web news - (multiple news) Relevant web news for you. You can also find tips and tricks, common problems and solutions, and more...

	TODOinSYNC - Google Desktop gadget which helps you organize your to-do tasks in tabs. You can also share the green tab with another sidebar user via the Google Talk API. This gadget has an animated tutorial which plays inside it showing you what each element does.
	Old DigiWatch - download here - This clock gadget has functions like an alarm, which shows a visual alert (if you enable your DigiWatch alert - by clicking "Customize Alerts" in the sidebar menu) and plays a sound. The Shift function counts a certain number of minutes from logon (click "options" in the plugin menu). You can change the digit color by clicking "Color" and send automated TimeText messages while online. A 24h/12h option and automated functions like Blink and Timer are also available. You can also set your time zone and see what the time is in other areas of the globe by using the arrows in the panel. In the latest version you can permanently see the time and the date, and if you click on the item that shows them you will have a quicker access to the Date & Time section from the Control Panel, so you can assign all your time management to DigiWatch.
	Old Fishtank - download here - Just like a screen needs a screensaver, your brain needs a brainsaver. If you didn't get it, you'll see what this means in time. By the way, if the fish get restless and start bugging you a lot, remember to give them food. Too much food won't do any good though. But they have some nice messages to give you + some good advice. Have fun :) Now you can also submit new messages and texts (generically called skins) for FishTank.
	Polly - This plugin is part of the brainsaver series (along with FishTank). Fishtank was about fish.. Polly is about parrots :D Why parrots? Well, I’m chronologically taking on the subject of every pet I ever had.. Who knows, maybe a dog plugin’s on the way, right? I also had a rabbit and a chicken, but this is about Polly…

Have fun with these free Google Sidebar gadgets. They’re all about time, but from a different perspective. You need Google Desktop for these gadgets to work.
