Sorting
You can choose the sorting criteria by pressing the 'Sort' button in the main view. Each criteria allows for both descending and ascending sorting. Priority sorting supercedes sorting by due date, which supercedes alphabetical sorting.

Priority
When adding or editing a task you can set its priority by using the yellow bar:

The default priority of a task is 50. The highest priority is considered 100 and the lowest is 0. You can also enable 'shiny' priority from the configuration screen - this will make the tasks shine according to priority:



Due Date

Basically, you can set a due date the same way (the due date button is right under the priority bar). You will also get a notification in the status bar when you open the app and there are tasks due today or earlier.
